Enfermedad de Paget del hueso, reporte de dos casos clínicos en Colombia.

La enfermedad de Paget del hueso es una enfermedad metabólica de hueso, infrecuente en Colombia y otros países de Latinoamérica. Hay reportes de casos esporádicos que difieren en características clínicas de las cohortes europeas donde esta condición es más frecuente. Se presentan dos casos encontrados en Colombia de pacientes con enfermedad de Paget del hueso que se presentaron con fractura, dolor óseo, y fosfatasa alcalina elevada, el compromiso del hueso fue poliostótico y en uno de los casos había coexistencia con hiperparatiroidismo primario, que es infrecuente, pero se encuentran descripciones en la literatura. Además, se documenta un tumor óseo como complicación de la enfermedad de Paget. Estos casos aportan datos sobre la historia natural de la enfermedad de Paget del hueso en población colombiana.
