Calidad de vida relacionada con la salud en pacientes cubanos con artritis reumatoide refractarios al tratamiento convencional que recibieron terapia con Jusvinza combinado con metotrexate

Introducción: La calidad de vida relacionada con la salud (CVRS) es una variable subjetiva y multidimensional que resulta fundamental en el manejo de enfermedades crónica como la AR.
Objetivo: Evaluar la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud en pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide tratados con candidato terapéutico inmunoregulador Jusvinza en combinación con metotrexate.
Método: Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, en el período comprendido entre septiembre de 2019 y mayo de 2021 en el Centro de Referencia de Enfermedades Reumáticas. HDCQ “10 de Octubre”. Se incluyeron 88 pacientes, la CVRS se evaluó con el cuestionario QoL-RA. Las variables clínicas se evaluaron en el tiempo 0 (evaluación inicial) y a las 48 semanas. Para describir la relación entre el puntaje promedio del QoL-RA con el DAS 28 y el HAQ-CU se utilizó la correlación de Pearson.
Resultados: Predominaron los pacientes del sexo femenino, entre los 36 y 55 años de edad. En la evaluación inicial la media global del QoL-RA fue de 3.75, lo cual indica una calidad de vida mala. El valor promedio más bajo fue para el parámetro, habilidad física 1.89. En la evaluación final el valor medio del QoL-RA fue de 9.66, lo cual se corresponde con una calidad de vida buena. La puntuación más alta se obtuvo en el parámetro salud personal 9.73. Se observó mejoría de todos los aspectos del cuestionario de calidad de vida. Se demostró con evidencia estadística la relación entre la calidad de vida global con las variables clínicas evaluadas.
Conclusiones: Se demostró una mejoría en la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud en los pacientes con artritis reumatoide, tratados con Jusvinza en combinación con metotrexate, lo cual refuerza el efecto inmunoregulador de Jusvinza.
