Use of digital platforms to improve specific English language skills

Introduction: The teaching-learning process of the English language has received a notable influence from the scientific and technical advances of recent years. The introduction of digital platforms has not only improved access, but also achieves personalization based on students and this conditions improvements in specific skills.
Objective: Expose the advantages of using digital platforms to improve specific skills in learning the English language.
Development: The advantages offered by digital platforms for the consolidation of specific English language skills are described in a descriptive manner; The platforms that affect them and their main educational methodologies are mentioned. Likewise, reference is made to other general advantages, as well as the challenges and future opportunities that are seen in the use of platforms for learning the English language.
Conclusions: The use of digital platforms has transformed English learning by making it more accessible, efficient and personalized. Although there are challenges, the benefits in terms of global access, improvement of specific skills, and the incorporation of advanced technologies position these tools as key players in modern language education.
