SYSTEMATIZATION MODEL FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF FAMILY MEDICINE SPECIALISTS ON SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS
Abstract
Introduction: the professional development of Family Medicine (FM) specialists in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is necessary to respond to current social demands, to the implementation of the health policy approved for the primary level of care, and to comply with the current legal framework for postgraduate activities.
Objective: to design a systematization model for the professional development process of MF specialists on SLE.
Methods: a general methodology with a dialectical materialist approach and other methods were taken into account to interpret and process the information that led to the declared scientific result.
Results: the evaluation of the professional development process in the international and national contexts allowed its definition. Based on this analysis, its initial state was characterized, from which the systematization model was designed, containing principles and foundations from areas of knowledge among which are those of medical education and three components: theoretical, methodological and operational, which allow the development of its implementation in professional practice in stages.
Conclusions: the strategic actions of the designed systematization model allow for updating, complementing, and deepening knowledge about SLE at the primary health care level, aspects that experts validated as ranging from essential to very useful.
