Introduction: Digital platforms have revolutionized educational processes in general in recent years. Their versatility stands out as an invaluable resource for promoting distance learning. In the specific case of the English language, they also enhance practical activities, consolidating the specific skills necessary for mastering it.
Objective: To present the elements that reflect the usefulness of digital technologies in English language learning.
Development: General and specific elements related to the use of digital resources as an educational alternative in the teaching and mastery of the English language are analyzed. A critical analysis is conducted that not only includes the advantages offered by digital platforms but also critically addresses the potential complications that arise in daily educational work.
Conclusions: Learning English through digital technologies represents a profound and positive transformation in traditional educational methods. Its implementation not only improves access and quality of learning but also fosters autonomy, motivation, inclusion, and pedagogical innovation.
