CUBA.La osteoartrosis es una de las patologias mds frecuentesde la tercefa edad y su tratamiento se basa fundamentalmenteen AINES (salicilatos) o no que repercuten principalmenteen la mucosa gastrointestinal. Estudiamos en 85pacientes geriatricos con OA las complicacionesgastrointestinales por uso de AINES y encontramos: gastritisaguda (39/85), gastritis cronica agudizada (33 / 85),ulcera peptica (9 / 85) y sangramiento digestivo alto (4 /85). Recomendamos el uso sistematico de terapia fisica yrehabilitation para disminuir el consumo de AINES en estoscasos, asi como adicionar medicamentos protectoresde la mucosa gastricaDownloads
