Dermatopolymyositis and herpetic keratitis: Infrequent association

The primary inflammatory myopathies are uncommon affections that when they are presented they usually associate to several illnesses. Due, mainly, to the use of steroids and cytostatic. The infections viral opportunists are frequent in patient with autoimmunity illnesses that you/they receive treatments with high dose of these medications. A 52 year-old patient is presented, with diagnostic of dermatopolymyositis, treaty with methotrexate and prednisona, which presented a herpetic keratitis during the treatment of her base illness.Downloads
