Clinimetría en las espondiloartritis y sus índices de medidas

La movilidad de la columna vertebral es un signo clave en la espondilitis anquilopoyética, la misma resulta esencial para identificar los signos inflamatorios que se presentan en el desarrollo de esta enfermedades, existiendo una serie de índices de medidas utilizados internacionalmente para corroborar indirectamente los criterios diagnósticos de la espondilitisanquilopoyética y como se comporta la misma en la evolución natural de la enfermedad y cuando es modificada con tratamientos médicos o fisioterapéuticos; presentamos un estudio de los índices que se utilizan regularmente en las consultas de reumatología y fisioterapia en el Centro de Reumatología para el diagnóstico y seguimiento de los pacientes que desarrollan esta entidad nosológica, así como los criterios que se reflejan en las historias clínicas para el control epidemiológico y pesquisaje de esta población de pacientes con fines científicos e investigativos.
