Gastropatic for no steroidal ant inflammatory in patient with rheumatic illnesses

Introduction: The nonsteroidal ant inflammatory they constitute one of the pharmacological groups of more frequent use in the current medicine, being the angular stone in the treatment of the pain and the inflammation in the patients with illnesses muscle esqueletic. The activity antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic that presents it is produced through their capacity to inhibit the enzymes ciclooxigenasa that intervene in the prostaglandinas synthesis, tromboxanos and leucotrienos.
Objective: To describe the characteristics of the patients with rheumatic illnesses and gastropatic for nonsteroidal antiinflammatory.
Methods: He/she was carried out a descriptive study in 175 patients with diagnostic of a rheumatic illness that went to the external consultation, in the period of February 2013 to February 2014 that maintained treatment at least with them in the last three months, and that they presented digestive symptoms.
Results: The patients prevailed with high gastrointestinal risk. The used medications were the Piroxicam continued by the Indometacina and the biggest number of patient they stayed with the medication for period of more time to one year. The discoveries more frequent endoscopic were the lineal erosions, followed by the erytema, the petequial lesions and ulcers. The biggest percent of patients was negative for H. pylori.
Conclusions: The age group that prevailed in the patients study object was that of 50 -59 years, as well as the feminine sex. The used medication was the Piroxicán and in advance of consumption superior to one year. The discoveries more frequent endoscopic were the lineal erosions, followed by the erytema and the petequial lesions and the biggest percent of patients it was negative for H. pylori in the study histological.
