Abstract

Se ha reportado que la autoinmunidad puede considerarse como un proceso o condició necesaria para la salud y las enfermedades autoinmunes representan un deterioro de los procesos fisiológicos normales que representan o conducen a daño para la salud.
Estas enfermedades tienen una frecuencia general del 5 % de la población de acuerdo con los estudios realizados y parecen estar determinadas por la acción de factores genéticos y ambientales que accionan sobre la susceptibilidad del individuo determinando su padecimiento.
Se presenta un caso inetersante con esta asociación y se revisa la literatura al respecto.
