ARTROPATÍA POR CRISTALES. HALLAZGOS ARTROSCÓPICOS

La Artroscopia es un método útil par demostración de cristales intraarticulares. Los principales cristales responsables de está artropatías. Urato Mono sódico monohidratado y pirofosfato cálcico hidratado responsable de la artritis gotosa y condrocalcinosis respectivamente ofrecen imágenes casi exclusivas facilitando el diagnóstico. En el 5% de un total de 265 pacientes (265 rodillas) constituyó un hallazgo artroscópico, ya que no tenían el diagnóstico previo, la mayor incidencia estuvo entre 41 – 61 años de edad, predominó el sexo femenino. Los cristales más hallados (67%) corresponden a los cristales de pirofosfato cálcico .La artropatía por Cristales de Ácido Úrico más presente en pacientes menores de 50 años. El diagnóstico clínico más planteado en este grupo de pacientes que motivo las artroscopia fue lesión de menisco interno seguido de Osteoartritis y la Condromalacia de cóndilo rótula.
