Factores de riesgo psicosociales y autopercepción de salud en el hospital de las FFAA Latacunga

Introducción: Los riesgos psicosociales son considerados factores cuya presencia pueden tener una influencia negativa sobre el estado de salud de los trabajadores. La pandemia de COVID-19 generó situaciones laborales extremas que significaron la exposición de los trabajadores de la salud a riesgos de este tipo.
Objetivo: Identificar el grado de exposición a factores psicosociales al que estuvieron sometidos los trabajadores de salud y su autopercepción de salud.
Metodología: Se realizó una investigación básica, no experimental, descriptiva y correlacional en un universo de 42 trabajadores del hospital de la base aérea Cotopaxi, durante la pandemia de COVID-19. La muestra quedó conformada por 39 trabajadores. Se utilizó el cuestionario del Ministerio del Trabajo para identificar la exposición a factores de riesgo psicosociales y el cuestionario de autopercepción de Goldberg de 12 ítems para autopercepción de salud. Se utilizó prueba de chi cuadrado, odd ration y correlación de Spearman
Resultados: Promedio de edad de 39,07 años con predominio del sexo femenino (53,85 %), del área operativa (66,67 %) y con tiempo de trabajo mayor de 3 años (84,62 %). En todas las clasificaciones predominó la exposición baja a los factores de riesgo psicosociales y la presencia de no casos.
Conclusiones: La pandemia de COVID-19 generó una elevada exposición a factores de riesgo psicosociales que condicionó la autopercepción de salud de los trabajadores de la salud del hospital de la base aérea Cotopaxi. Se identificó una correlación negativa media entre la exposición a los factores de riesgo psicosociales y la autopercepción de salud.
