La Hipermovilidad Articular en Consulta de Reumatología

Se realiza un estudio en 378 individuos, 301 del sexo femenino y 77 del sexo masculino, con edades entre los 15 años o más, remitidos a consulta de Reumatología por el especialista de atención primaria durante el primer trimestre de 1998, con el fin de determinaren los mismos la frecuencia de Hipermovilidad articular, y los tipos de reumatismos asociados a la misma. El 17.1 %. de los pacientes estudiados fueron hipermóviles. La HA predominó en el sexo femenino, y al parecer predispone entre los 14-25 años a padecer Gonalgias, y entre los 25-44 años a Raquialgias y Fibromialgia. La Osteoartrosis y los Reumatismos inflamatorios no se asociaron a la condición de hipermóvil en ninguno de los grupos de edades analizados. Este estudio demuestra una importante relación entre HA y algunos tipos de Reumatismos articulares en pacientes cubanos, su probable papel causal y en el pronóstico y tratamiento de los mismos por lo que hace énfasis en la búsqueda de signos de HA en el examen de rutina del paciente que acude a Consulta de Reumatología.Downloads
