Validación de la versión cubana, en español, del cuestionario de evaluación de la salud (Childhood Health Assessment Questionnaire) en niños cubanos con artritis reumatoide juvenil

Se tradujo al español el cuestionario de Sing, por 2 hispanohablantes, posteriormente fue retraducido al inglés por 2 individuos anglohablantes y evaluado por 2 individuos bilingües. Se aplicó el cuestionario a 60 niños con artritis reumatoide juvenil y a sus padres. 29 niños y 31 niñas. La edad de comienzo fue de 4.7 ± 2.9 años en niños y de 6 ± 2.9 años en niñas. El tiempo medio de duración fue de 5.7 ± 3.3 años en niños y 3.9 ± 2.4 en niñas. Según su forma de comienzo, encontramos 5 niños con la forma sistémica, 29 poliarticular y 26 pauciarticular. El índice de incapacidad para los niños fue de 0.24 ± 0.38 y para las niñas 0.40 ± 0.64. La confiabilidad del cuestionario se corroboró por el método de test-retest con un coeficiente de Spearman de 0.95 para los niños, p < 0.001, y de 0.99 para los tutores, p < 0.001. La relación ínter observador, dio un coeficiente de Spearman de 0.98, p < 0.001 y de Pearson de 0.98, p < 0.001. La confiabilidad interna se midió con el índice de a de Cronbach, siendo los valores de 0.91 para los niños y de 0.89 para los tutores. La validez se demostró por la correlación del índice de incapacidad con la clase funcional de Steinbrocker, coeficiente de Spearman de 0.98 para los niños, p < 0.001 y de 0.98 para los tutores, p < 0.001. La validez convergente se demostró correlacionando otros parámetros de la enfermedad con el índice de incapacidad. La validez discriminante fue analizada por el método de regresión logística, la clase funcional 1 versus la clase funcional 2 con un riesgo relativo de 183.9, p < 0.001. Se demostró la confiabilidad y validez de la traducción al español realizada en Cuba del Childhood Assessment Ouestionnaire. Esta versión del cuestionario es un instrumento sencillo, rápido, confiable y válido, puede ser aplicado a niños con artritis reumatoide juvenil de cualquier edad.Downloads
