Reflexiones sobre el desarrollo de la bioética en la reumatología cubana

La relación médico- paciente a través de la historia ha sido reglamentada por los propios médi cos y sus organizaciones directrices creando un conjunto de preceptos legales y éticos, eje de su conducta profesional, establecidas generalmente siguiendo los principios hipocráticos de beneficencia y no maleficencia.
Sin embargo, con el surgimiento de la Bioética en la década del 60 y su posterior aceptación de manera universal, esta conducta se ha visto modificada al tener que aceptar dos nuevos principios dentro de su ética moral; estos son la justicia y la autonomía, siendo elementos fundamentales dentro del amplio campo de la Bioética.
