Questionnaire COOP/WONCA, validity and reliability of their use in the patients with osteoarthritis

Introduction: The questionnaire of sheets COOP/WONCA is a generic instrument used for the mensuration of the quality of life related with the health.Objective: To determine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire of sheets COOP/WONCA to determine quality of life related with the health in patient with osteoarthritis.
Methodology: He/she was carried out a traverse descriptive study in the Center of Rheumatology with 1067 patients with diagnostic of osteoarthritis. The questionnaire of sheets COOP/WONCA was applied and the properties psychometrics of the questionnaire were determined to determine the validity and reliability of the same one.
Results: The age average was off 61 years. The biggest gender frequency corresponded to the feminine gender with 77,41 %. The articulation that with more frequency you affection was the knee and the time of more frequent evolution was the one understood between 1 and 5 years. The determination of the properties psychometrics of the questionnaire of sheets COOP/WONCA shows values adapted in all the parameters.
Conclusions: The questionnaire of sheets COOP/WONCA is useful to determine perception of quality of life related with the health in patient with osteoarthritis since presents appropriate properties of reliability and validity.
