Evaluación de las infecciones en una serie de pacientes con Lupus Eritematoso Sistémico y Artritis Reumatoide Generalidades

Realizamos estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo de 45 pacientes portadoras de Lupus Eritematoso Sistémico (LES) y 41 con A. Reumatoide evaluando los eventos infecciosos sufridos que se recogen en las Historias Clínicas con el objetivo de conocer la frecuencia de dichos eventos infecciosos en ambas entidades, y las características globales de los pacientes aquejados. Como resultados obtuvimos que presentaron cuadros infecciosos el 95.55% de los pacientes con lupus. Los procesos sépticos más frecuentes se localizaron en el Tractus Urinario 23.25%, Piel 18,60% y Pulmones 18,60%. Los gérmenes más frecuentes hallados fueron la Escherichia Coli, especies de Estafilococos y Enterobacterias. Los signos más evidentes de sepsis fueron la Velocidad de Sedimentación Globular y la fiebre en tanto que las manifestaciones de actividad del lupus más frecuentes fueron la artritis y los síntomas generales. Comparativamente en la Artritis Reumatoide se infectaron solamente el 43.90% de los pacientes y las localizaciones más frecuentes fueron Tractus Urinario 55.55%, y pulmón 33.33%, siendo el gérmen aislado con mayor frecuencia la Escherichia Coli. Concluimos que los pacientes con LES desarrollan infecciones con mayor frecuencia que los pacientes AR, las infecciones por microorganismos comunes predominan y se establecen a nivel de tracto urinario estando en relación con la enfermedad per-se, en tanto las infecciones oportunista se relacionan con las drogas e inmunosupresión por el tratamiento impuestoDownloads
