Perception of quality of life related with the health in patient with osteoarthritis of hands

Introduction: the hand osteoarthrosis is a degenerative illness that many times passes in off without knowing the affectation that takes place to the perception of the quality of life related with the health of the patients that you/they suffer it.
Objective: To evaluate the perception of the quality of life related with the health in patient with osteoarthrosis of hands.
Methodology: study descriptive. For the positive diagnosis they were kept in mind the approaches of the ACR. The demographic variable partner was described obtained through a survey that contained so much clinical elements as radiological useful to confirm the diagnosis of the illness. Questionnaires were applied to determine the perception of the quality of life related with the health and the functional capacity as they were the sheets coop/wonca, the HAQ-CU and the questionnaire Dreiser, modified by Lequesne.
Results: the age average was of 54.74 years with an age of beginning of the 47.23 year-old symptoms, The biggest gender frequency corresponded to the feminine one with 83.33 %. The time of more frequent evolution was the one understood between 1 and 5 years. 47.29 % of the patients presented a comorbility and/or habit noxious associate at least. The global sumatory of the dimensions was of 18.95. Alone 20.15 % of the patients didn't present discapacity and the patients prevailed with slight discapacity.
Conclusions: the increase of the time of evolution of the illness as well as the comorbility presence influences negatively in the perception of the quality of life related with the health of the patients with hand arthrosis, which causes physical discapacity in the patients that suffer it.
