Afectación ósea en la artropatía psoriásica

La psoriasis es una enfermedad inflamatoria que tiene diferentes presentaciones clínicas; puede aparecer a cualquier edad y se describe que puede afectar a ambos sexos aunque con ligero predominio en el sexo masculino. Dentro de las múltiples manifestaciones clínicas es destacar la toma del esqueleto axial y periférico denominándose entonces artropatía psoriásica. La artropatía psoriásica provoca un deterioro progresivo de las estructuras óseas y articulares que, al igual que en la artritis reumatoide, repercuten negativamente sobre la percepción de la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud de los pacientes que padecen esta enfermedad. En este se presenta el caso de una paciente de 51 años de edad, con diagnóstico de artropatía psoriásica, la cual presente múltiples afectaciones óseas y articulares en ambas manos.Downloads
