Memorable Jornada Científica Reuma-Santiago 2023. Historiografía, desarrollo y resultados científico-académicos del evento

Reuma-Santiago 2023 propició un fructífero intercambio y puesta al día sobre diversas patologías complejas atendidas en el servicio de reumatología en el cual efectuamos un Pase de visita Académico magistral, se realizó una discusión de una paciente de difícil manejo con un lupus eritematoso sistémico activo grave, en el contexto del evento teórico asistimos a las excelentes presentaciones por los residentes y profesores con temas como artritis reumatoide, lLupus eritematoso sistémico, esclerosis sistémica actualización terapéutica y un espacio dedicado a la historiografía, el arte y la pintura en la reumatología entre otros temas de sumo interés. En la reunión administrativa con los directivos de salud se realizó una mirada retrospectiva a todo lo hecho prepandemia, durante la misma y como enfrentar su impacto, todo lo pendiente por hacer como Grupo Nacional, Sociedad científica, grupos provinciales y el pleno de los reumatólogos del país. Se apuntó como principal tarea la estrategia para superar las secuelas de la pandemia, cómo enfrentar el nuevo programa de desarrollo de la especialidad contar con nuevas tecnologías y apoyar el desarrollo de productos farmacéuticos nacionales cumpliendo orientaciones del MINSAP como punto de partida para el mejoramiento de la calidad de los servicios médicos especializados que se le brinda día a día, a los pacientes reumáticos en el territorio Oriental y en el país.
En un fructífero intercambio científico intergeneracional, se convirtió la recientemente celebrada IV Jornada Territorial Reumatología de provincias orientales que contó con la participación de colegas de las vecinas provincias de Granma, Holguín y Guantánamo la que se desarrolló en distintos escenarios de la hospitalaria ciudad de Santiago de Cuba.
