Correlación entre las habilidades blandas de los docentes universitarios y su desempeño laboral

Introducción: La educación superior se centra en lograr la integralidad de los futuros profesionales; busca que estos no solo tengan elevados conocimientos científicos, sino que también manejo en habilidades y herramientas que les permitan un crecimiento personal; en este sentido, es necesario es necesario que los docentes universitarios dominen las habilidades blandas para mejorar su desempeño laboral.
Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre habilidades blandas de los docentes universitarios y su desempeño laboral.
Métodos: Se realizó una investigación básica, con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, descriptivo y transversal. Se aplicaron encuestas dirigidas a 20 docentes de educación superior para evaluar la relación existente entre la utilización y manejo de habilidades blandas y su repercusión en el desempeño laboral.
Resultados: Se aumento la percepción de los docentes sobre importancia de las habilidades blandas al 70,0 %. Las competencias en habilidades blandas mostraron un 85,0 % en responsabilidad; 80,0 % en adaptabilidad y 75,0 % en gestión de la información. La relación entre estas habilidades y el desempeño laboral fue de r > 0.75. En el caso de la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo presentan correlaciones positivas medias (r = 0.58 y r = 0.65, respectivamente).
Conclusiones: Las habilidades blandas son esenciales para el desempeño docente en la educación superior; desempeñan un papel clave en la creación de entornos de aprendizaje inclusivos y efectivos.
