Analgesia opioide del dolor crónico osteomioarticular desde la perspectiva de la enfermería

El dolor crónico osteomioarticular representa una situación compleja y de difícil solución para el paciente; se caracteriza por influir de forma negativa en su estilo de vida y afecta el entorno familiar, social y laboral. El objetivo de esta investigación fue realizar una revisión bibliográfica para determinar las principales intervenciones de enfermería en relación a la utilización de la analgesia opioide en pacientes con dolor crónico osteomioarticular. Para esto se realizó una investigación básica, no experimental, descriptiva y transversal que tuvo como universo un total de 72 documentos, de los cuales 27 formaron parte de la muestra de investigación. La información, recopiló documentos publicados en bases de datos regionales y de alto impacto dentro de las que destacan Scielo, PubMed, Elsevier, Dialnet, Scopus, Latindex y Redalyc; además de información de organismos nacionales e internacionales, publicados en el período 2017-2022. Como principales resultados se identificó que los eventos adversos en la administración prolongada de fármacos opioides que con mayor frecuencia se reportan se localizan en la esfera neurológica, gastrointestinal y psicológica. Se establecieron las principales acciones, según los criterios de los diferentes autores revisados, y se las relacionó con la taxonomía Nursing Interventions Classification. Las intervenciones más relevantes corresponden a los cuidados durante y después de la administración del medicamento; así como, el reconocimiento oportuno de los posibles eventos adversos. Se concluye que los cuidados de enfermería son fundamentales para lograr una adecuada adherencia farmacológica, así como para identificar, prevenir y mitigar los efectos adversos de esta medicación.
