Manifestaciones reumáticas en el curso del Síndrome de Malabsorción Intestinal

Las diferentes deficiencias de micronutrientes que se detectan en el síndrome de malabsorción intestinal suelen producir síntomas osteomioarticulares que pueden ser la única expresión clínica del mismo. Esto se debe a la pérdida importante de calcio, magnesio, fósforo, entre otros necesarios para el metabolismo del tejido conectivo. Sin embargo, no pocas veces estos síntomas no se deben solamente a estas carencias, sino también a otras patologías que concomitan con enfermedades que cursan con malabsorción. Se hace referencia en esta revisión a algunas de estas patologías que por su frecuencia en consultas especializadas de reumatología y gastroenterología, deben tenerse presente en tales situaciones.
