Auditoría a los procesos de compras públicas en unidades de salud ecuatorianas

Las compras públicas constituyen la base del sustento de actividades que se desarrollan en el servicio de salud en Ecuador. Constituyen un proceso complejo que no se encuentra excepto de brechas que pueden ser utilizadas por distintas personas para lucrar, lo que expone a la presencia de manifestaciones de corrupción. La auditoría es un proceso de control que permite minimizar las brechas antes mencionadas y de esa forma limitan la presencia de eventos considerados como expresión de corrupción. El objetivo de la presente investigación es exponer la importancia que reviste la auditoría a los procesos de compras públicas en unidades de salud ecuatorianas con la finalidad de transparentar este proceso y evitar expresiones de corrupción. En esta investigación básica, no experimental y descriptiva se exponen los elementos relacionados con la importancia que reviste la auditoria como proceso de control a las compras públicas en unidades de salud ecuatorianas, destacando su papel en la prevención e identificación de expresiones de corrupción; solo de esta forma se puede mejorar la calidad de los servicios de salud en el país. Se concluye que auditar las comprar públicas en el sector salud en Ecuador constituye una expresión de control sobre actitudes inadecuadas que además de empañar la imagen del sistema atenta contra de la calidad de la atención y de la satisfacción de la población con el servicio prestado.
