La enseñanza del idioma inglés con propósitos específicos en estudiantes universitarios

El panorama profesional mundial se encuentra en constante movimiento y cambio; los profesionales se enfrentar a retos de comunicación, preparación e intercambio cada vez mayores, los cuales demandan una alta preparación personal en distintos elementos cruciales. Quizás uno de los más significativos es la preparación en el idioma inglés, el cual constituye la principal forma de comunicación a nivel mundial. El objetivo de esta investigación es describir los elementos relacionados con la enseñanza del idioma inglés con propósitos específicos incluyendo sus elementos metodológicos. Para esto se realiza una investigación básica y descriptiva que ofrece como principales resultados la exposición de las necesidades y ventajas que aporta el dominio del idioma inglés con propósitos tanto desde el punto de vista profesional como personal. Se abordan los elementos metodológicos que garantizan la adecuada implementación de la enseñanza del idioma inglés en el contexto de la educación superior ecuatoriana. Se concluye que la enseñanza del idioma inglés con propósitos específicos resulta fundamental para el crecimiento personal y profesional. Múltiples son las herramientas y estrategias que pueden utilizarse en este sentido. El dominio del idioma inglés aporta ventajas sustanciales a los profesionales ecuatorianos que se extienden tanto al ámbito profesional como personal.
