Morbilidad Psiquiátrica en pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide

Se realizo un estudio descriptivo, cuantitativo, de corte transversal, retrospectivo con el objetivo de identificar la morbilidad psiquiátrica en pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide valorados por Psiquiatría de Enlace durante el año 2010. Se analizaron todos los pacientes ingresados, con enfermedades reumatológicas, que fueron atendidos en la Consulta de Psiquiatría de Enlace del Servicio de Psiquiatría del Hospital Clínico Quirúrgico "10 de Octubre" (172 pacientes). La muestra quedó formada por 67 pacientes con diagnóstico de Artritis Reumatoide. Se evaluaron variables como la edad, sexo, diagnósticos psiquiátricos y coomorbilidad psiquíatrica según la CIE- 10 (Eje I). La totalidad de los pacientes pertenecieron al sexo femenino, predominó el grupo de pacientes en el rango de treinta a cuarenta y nueve años y dentro de ellos el grupo de treinta a treinta a treinta y nueve años de edad. Los diagnósticos psiquiátricos más frecuentes (Eje I) fueron: El Episodio depresivo, el Trastorno no orgánico del ciclo del sueño- vigilia y el Trastorno mixto depresivo ansioso. La comorbilidad psiquiátrica que predominó (Eje II) fue a expensas del diagnóstico de Trastorno de la personalidad.
