Factores que influyen en la determinación de los costos de los servicios de salud

La contabilidad y las Ciencias Médicas han tenido una relación histórica; uno de los puntos donde se beneficia la salud de las bondades contables es en la determinación de los costos de los servicios médicos. La demanda de atención médicas, los nuevos medios diagnósticos y la necesidad de tener recursos terapéuticos eficaces son algunos de los elementos que caracterizan los costos de la salud pública y privada en Ecuador. Identificar y monitorear estos alimentos es fundamental para mantener un servicio de calidad sin sobredimensionar sus costos asociados. El objetivo de la presente investigación es exponer factores que influyen en la determinación de los costos de los servicios de salud. Para esto se realiza una investigación básica, descriptiva y transversal en la cual se obtiene como principales resultados la identificación y análisis de los principales factores médicos y socioeconómicos que intervienen en los costos de los servicios de la salud en Ecuador. Se concluye que la determinación de os costos de los servicios de la salud es un proceso complejo, en la cual interviene una variada gama de factores médicos y socioeconómicos. La determinación y análisis de los mismos se debe realizar de forma periódica, con la finalidad de mitigar efectos económicos sin que se afecte la calidad de los servicios prestados.
