Equilibrio psicológico. La esencia del enigma en el tratamiento de pacientes con Fibromialgia

La fibromialgia es una de las enfermedades reumáticas más frecuentes que afecta fundamentalmente al sexo femenino limitando la percepción de la calidad de vida de los pacientes que la padecen. Múltiples son los elementos que se plantean que intervienen en la aparición del dolor, pero sin duda alguna un elemento importante es la afectación psicológica que presentan los mismos; logrando un adecuado control de la esfera psicológica se minimizan las manifestaciones clínicas de esta patología. En este reporte se presenta una paciente de 19 años con diagnóstico de esta entidad en la que los trastornos psicológicos juegan un rol fundamental en la aparición de la sintomatología acompañante.
