Fidel Enrique Ilizástigui Dupuy: paradigma de la educación médica

No constituyó Cuba excepción de regla en cuanto a destacada labor de personalidades médicas. La evidencia en cada período de historia nacional demuestra que siempre hubo desarrollo salubrista en las diferentes épocas. La educación médica estuvo presente en nuestro país desde el comienzo de la etapa colonial transcurriendo por diferentes períodos con un carácter evolutivo, experimentando modificaciones esenciales para el perfeccionamiento. No se pudiera hablar de educación médica cubana sin la presencia a lo largo de la historia de grandes médicos - pedagogos encargados de ingeniar los diferentes sistemas de enseñanzas. Fue el profesor Fidel llizástigui Dupuy, paradigma de las ciencias clínicas, y más que ello, el pedagogo más trascendental de la medicina cubana. Es por ello que se realizó una revisión de 14 referencias bibliográficas con el objetivo de argumentar la importancia de la obra del profesor Ilizátigui Dupuy en función de la formación de profesionales en salud.Downloads
