Hallazgos interesantes en madres con niños con Sinovitis de Cadera

La Sinovitis transitoria de cadera (STC) continúa siendo un diagnóstico de exclusión en la clínica pediátrica y las causas que la originan muchas veces no pueden ser demostradas.En el siguiente trabajo se presentan 22 niños con diagnóstico de Sinovitis transitoria de cadera, atendidos consecutivamente entre los años 1997 – 1999 en la consulta externa de Reumatología del Hosp General Docente “Aleida Fernández Chardiet” de Provincia Habana. Se aplicó una encuesta en dos partes: la primera dedicada a recoger datos del paciente relacionados con la STC y la segunda con los resultados del examen físico realizado a sus respectivas madres. Predominaron en los afectados y sus madres el color de piel blanca y predominó el sexo masculino entre los pacientes. La edad promedio de los niños estudiados fue de 4.5. El 72% de las madres cumplían criterios de hipermovilidad articular y un 50% presentaron deformidades en miembros inferiores. Se comentan estos hallazgos.Downloads
