Intercultural nursing educational strategy in the self-care of the hypertensive adult

Hypertension is a disease that generates a high number of complications in different organ systems of the human body, even putting the lives of patients at risk. That is why it is necessary to control the clinical expression of the disease in order to minimize the presence of clinical manifestations and complications of the disease. However, achieving control of arterial hypertension includes a series of elements that go beyond the prescription of drugs and pharmacological adherence. Educating patients and promoting self-care are essential elements to keep blood pressure levels stable. The objective of this research was to design an intercultural nursing educational strategy in the self-care of the hypertensive adult.
